I would like to know, if it is possible to convert a java application with several classes to a single exe-file, which is executable under windows.
In my eyes the main disadvantage of java applications in the class-format is the fact, that there are still too many users, who are not willing to spend more time in starting a program than a doubleclick on the according icon takes. It has happened quit often, that a friend decided to download some stupid shareware program with thousands of registration-adwises when I startet to exlain how to install Java and run my program.
So, if somebody of you know a standard way, how to make an independent executable program file of class-files, please answer me in this forum or email to: stefan.boehmer@rub.de
