Swing Frame schließen

Hi ich habe letztens ein Programm programmiert das einen Haupt-Frame hat und in dem befindet sich ein Button, der Button öffnet einen 2. Frame. Mein Problem ist jetzt das wenn ich den 2. Frame schließe, schließt sich der Haupt-Frame mit. Wie muss ich mein Programm programmieren das sich nur der 2. Frame schließt?

Der Code vom anderen JFrame wäre auch hilfreich, dort passiert ja das unerwünschte Verhalten

Er hat seine Oberfläche mit einem GUI-Designer erstellt und dort ausgewählt dass er ein "JFrame Form ..." erstellen will. Und diese ewige Diskussion darüber ist müssig und ausserdem ist dieser Thread schon seit anderthalb Wochen erledigt !
