Ich möchte Android Studio kennen lernen und beherrsche ein paar Java Grundlagen. Deshalb habe Ich mir unter Android Developers das Beispiel https://developer.android.com/courses Android Room with a Java View rausgesucht. Ich habe die Anleitung befolgt und habe bei dem Punkt 4. Update Gradle Files nur Fehlermeldungen bekommen. Ich würde diese Beispiel gerne weiter durcharbeiten da man einiges gezeigt bekommt. Ich scheitere an den Changes für Gradle. Ich poste mal die zwei gradle files villeicht fällt einem erfahrenen Entwickler auf was da falsch ist.

Hier wird bei ext jede Zeile als error (Unresolved reference und Too many character in a character literal. Es ist einfach alles rot. Aus irgendeinem Grund erkennt er die Befehle nicht.
Und dann noch das zweite Gradle: build.grdle.kts(Module :app)
